"I met Jess Stephenson in Oman working for Oxy. He was part of a crew looking after the mechanical requirements on 7 workover rigs supplied by Steward and Stephenson a renowned rig builder in Canada. There was a lot of electronics involved in these rigs and Jess Stephenson was well aware of all the faults in these electronics components also OXY had TMX which were Rod coil injectors which ran continuous sucker rod down hole and these machines also had a lot of Hydraulic and electronic components involved in them. Jess was also involved in the KW pumping trucks which had a combination of moving and changing over to pumping operation using the same truck engine. These were not easy to maintain especially when they had problems Jess was always there to solve problems Jess had a good nature always got along with the workers and helped out when the need was raised. He was a good organizer a planner. He had good computer skills which promoted him more when it come to solving and producing time sheets and programs for maintaining scheduled maintenance. He had leadership skills and listen to whoever had different ideas. I think these skills put Jess Stephenson in a position to run and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment on a large scale and save a lot of time and funds to whoever accept his services"
